Leaders today are waking up to the stark reality that it's no longer about how workers must adapt to their employers, but how employers must now adapt to their employees. Support in adapting includes understanding how generational values are transforming the world of work. For the first time in history there are four cohorts in the workplace at the same time and it’s causing a bit of a stir. The primary challenge today is how to navigate amidst these differences. Participants will gain valuable tools on how to stack the generational DECK by developing, engaging, collaborating and keeping thereby creating sustainable and engaged intergenerational teams.

It’s not our age differences that divide us but rather it’s our judgments about each other that create conflict and break down collegial relationships. A judgment that one generation is better than another regarding work ethics, company loyalty, technology and social skills are just a few of the key differences now shaping our work experience. Once we have a grasp on the generational imprints that have left lasting impressions upon each clan we can than begin to breakdown these judgments and realize they are as many unique differences as similarities between them.

Based on the book Four Generation - One Workplace we will explore the most relevant research regarding these imprints left upon each generation and how they transfer over to the working environment. Being able to answer these questions and understand that new workplace transformation is essential for business leaders wanting to engage the brightest stars in their industry, regardless of age.
